Nodal Officer Details Name NARENDRA KUMAR SINGH Telephone Number 9454401015 Email-ID adlspgangaparaldpolice@gmail.com From the above status it is quite obvious that the application under right to information act 2005 submitted by the information seeker on 8th June 2023 which was forwarded by the nodal officer Mr Narendra Kumar Singh to the concerned public information officer on 9th June 2023 and public information officer is procrastinating on the RTI application ipso facto. Thus we see that one month 26 days past unfortunately concerned public information officer that is assistant police commissioner Phoolpur did not provide the information to the information seeker which is a mockery of the provisions of the right to Information Act 2005. According to the subsection one of Section 7 of the right to Information Act 2005 public information officer must provide the information to the information seeker within stipulated 30 days from the date of receipt of the RTI application in the office of the public authority. Here it is quite obvious that public information officer, assistant Commissioner of Police Phoolpur district Prayagraj did not provide any information to the information seeker within stipulated 30 days as prescribed under subsection one of Section 7 of the right to Information Act 2005. Consequently assistant Commissioner of Police Phoolpur district Prayagraj who is also the public information officer violated the subsection one of Section 7 of right to Information Act 2005. This is a humble request of the appellant to the first appellate authority to take appropriate action in the matter in accordance with the law by directing public information officer to provide information as soon as possible as well as disciplinary action must be taken against the public information officer for not abiding the provisions of law as required from him.
