विषय-S.D.O. and Junior Engineer of Jangi Road power station are causing great resentment among electricity consumers because of their cryptic working. An application under Article 51A of the constitution of India to the Executive Engineer electricity distribution division second, Fataha, district Mirzapur. The matter concerns the wide Public interest so it must be looked into with due care and attention. The feedback made available by the citizens must be scrutinized by the concerned staff to ensure the transparency and accountability in the department. Sir, the case is related to Sub-Divisional Officer Jangi Road Electricity Distribution Division II, Mirzapur. Many complaints of irregularities are being received against the subordinates of Sub-Divisional Officer Junior Engineer Vinay Kumar Gupta, due to which there is a huge loss of revenue and genuine consumers are facing a lot of trouble. Sir, the Uttar Pradesh government has arranged a portal for quick disposal of applications received by consumers with the intention of providing connections, but instead of quick disposal of complaints received from the portal, the process of evasion is adopted by Junior Engineer Vinay Kumar Gupta. Subdivisional Officer Jangi Road and concerned Junior Engineer Vinay Kumar Gupta are working cryptically causing ramification of corruption in the system. Consequently genuine consumers are quite dissatisfied with the working style. Sir, everyone knows that before giving new connections in place of old connections, adequate investigation is done by the Electricity Department, but here Sub-Divisional Officer and junior Engineer Vinay Kumar Gupta issued new connections without any investigation, despite having sufficient dues, due to which there has been a huge loss of revenue. As an example, some connection details are attached, please submit your report. Sir, the basis of giving electricity connection is the distance from the electricity connection and the pole, the estimate is made on that basis, but here the basis of estimate is bribe, due to which instead of increasing the rate, a huge burden of bribe is put on the consumers, in this way there is a huge loss of government revenue and the consumers are not benefited, but the money goes into the pockets of the officials who get Rs 100,000 salary per month. Executive engineer EDD II Mirzapur, Rajesh Kumar should provide the information concerning irregularity in the working of the S.D.O. Jangi Road Provide the copy of the permission letter provided which means later of approval by the senior rank officer to increase the power instead of curbing the theft of electricity. Please provide the action taken and findings in the matter. Provide the current status of the recovery of the dues in the old connections which were replaced by new connections arbitrarily by the sub divisional officer and junior engineer. Please provide the name and designation of the staff who made enquiry on the applications of new connections and also tell the name of officers who approved these reports. Please provide the name and designation who made the estimates also tell the name and designation of the staff who approved these estimates.
