Reply :- आप द्वारा मांगी गयी सूचना के सम्बन्ध में अवगत कराना है कि के0बी0पी0जी0 कालेज, मिर्जापुर अनुदानित महाविद्यालय के श्रेणी में है, जहाँ जनसूचना अधिकारी अधिकृत है। अतः सम्बन्धित सूचना महाविद्यालय से प्राप्त की जा सकती है।
According to subsection 3 of section 6 of the Right to Information Act 2005 states as follows.
Where an application is made to a public authority requesting for an information,— (i) which is held by another public authority;
or (ii) the subject matter of which is more closely connected with the functions of another public authority, the public authority, to which such application is made, shall transfer the application or such part of it as may be appropriate to that other public authority and inform the applicant immediately about such transfer:
Provided that the transfer of an application pursuant to this sub-section shall be made as soon as practicable but in no case later than five days from the date of receipt of the application.
Here it is quite obvious that public information officer M.G.K.V.P. University Varanasi violated subsection 3 of section 6 of the Right to Information Act 2005.
