* Description of Information Sought The information seeker made the complaint of theft of stamp duty and deputy registrar Sadar passed an appropriate order by imposing a penalty, Now recovery of the penalty is the main concern of the information seeker. The matter concerns the assistant commissioner, Stamp, District-Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh.
The public information officer may provide the following information to the information seeker point wise as follows.
1-It is submitted before the Honourable sir that Honourable sir may take a glance of Page 3 and 4 of the attached PDF document which shows that deputy registrar has traced the theft of stamp duty of amount 229640 rupees which was to be recovered from the concerned seller and purchaser i.e. Raghuvar Dayal Singh Son of late Bhanu Pratap Singh and Priya Singh wife of Dilip Singh.
Please provide the status of the recovery of the penalty in the aforementioned matter of theft of stamp duty by buyer and seller. If the purchaser and seller denied to pay the penalty, then consequent action by the concerned staff of the government of Uttar Pradesh.

* Prayer or Relief Sought PIO had to transfer the matter to public authority under subsection 3 of section 6 of the Right to Information Act 2005 to public authority closely connected to the matter. Here matters concern theft of stamp duty so concern wide public interest. Here it is more appropriate if the matter was transferred to D.M. Mirzapur is closely connected with matter and available on the RTI online portal. If feasible, direct PIO to transfer the matter to D.M.
