From the status of the submitted RTI application it is quite obvious that RTI application was submitted by the information seeker on 30th June 2023 and this RTI application was forwarded to the public information officer on first July 2023 which means two months 16 days passed since the date RTI application was submitted by the appellant. It is the obligatory duty of the public information officer to provide the information to the information seeker within stipulated 30 days as prescribed under subsection one of section 7 of the right to information act 2005.
Whether it is not the mockery of the provisions of the right to information act 2005 by the executive engineer electricity distribution division second Mr Rajesh Kumar who is procrastinating on the submitted RTI application under subsection one of section 6 of the right to information act 2005.
Following information sought by the appellant from the executive engineer electricity distribution division 2nd.
1-Name and designation of the staff posted in the office of S.D.O. Jangi road subdivision and their posting details including date of joining in the district Mirzapur.
2-S.D.O. Jangi road may provide the action taken details against the theft of electricity within six months including recovery of penalties.
3-Executive engineer EDD II District-Mirzapur, may provide the details of the vigilance team working in his ambit and their contact information including CUG mobile numbers, executive emails.
4-Executive engineer EDD II District-Mirzapur may provide details of action taken by the vigilance team within six months and recovery of the penalties and registered cases against theft of electricity.
5-S.D.O. Jangi road may provide the feedback regarding the fuel consumption details on the vehicles used by him and his subordinates to perform official duties.
6-S.D.O. Jangi road may provide the feedback regarding the non removal of open wire 40 meter when entire open wires were replaced by cable before Shri Lakshmi Narayan Baikunth Mahadev Mandir, Mohalla Surekapuram, Rewa road, District Mirzapur pin code 231001.
