An application under Article 32 of the constitution of India to secure the right to vote which is a fundamental right under the constitution of India.

An application under Article 51 A of the constitution of India to make inquiry regarding exercise of franchise during elections which are going to be held in 2024.

                                                    Honourable Supreme Court of India

Tilak Marg, New Delhi, Delhi 110201

Subject- Please provide the facility to cast votes to the applicant and his family members through ballot paper as provided to the government staff engaged in duty during the election time because the applicant has no more faith in the electronic voting machines quite obvious from the demonstrations made by the public spirited activists.

With due respect, the applicant wants to draw the kind attention of the most respected sir to the following submissions as follows.

1- Most respected Sir the applicant and his family members only have faith in those things which are accepted by their rational minds and the applicant has no more faith in the electronic voting machines imposed by the government and the electorates after such demonstration.

2- Most respected Sir, the right to exercise franchise of the applicant is not only confined to Right to press the button of the electronic voting machine but it also provides the right to know whether his vote is reaching to the destination or not. No one may be allowed to hijack my vote in the middle path by manipulating the tools.

3-Under Article 326 of the Constitution, the Right to Vote is provided. Article 326 of the Constitution provides that the Legislative Assembly Elections and Lok Sabha Elections of every state are held based on adult options. It further implies that for any candidate to be eligible for the election process of the Lower House of Parliament or the Legislative Assembly, they should be at least 21 years old. Via the 61st Amendment to the Constitution of India, the age limit was further amended and reduced to 18 years.

4-The privilege of the right to vote is not only a fundamental right but a significant constitutional right bestowed upon the citizens of our nation. During the time when India was under the control of the East India Company or the British Empire, the indigenous people were deprived of any rights or privileges. The East India Company held supreme authority and dominion over decision-making and governance. However, the Indian Councils Act of 1909, brought about by the rigorous efforts of Morley Minto, marked the initial stage of transformation in the legislative process of the country.

5- Most respected Sir you must provide the option to the aggravated applicants of electronic boating machines so that applicants may be able to secure their votes from the hijackers.

This is a humble request of the applicant to you Hon’ble Sir that how can it be justified to withhold public services arbitrarily and promote anarchy, lawlessness, and chaos in an arbitrary manner by making the mockery of law of land? This is the need of the hour to take harsh steps against the wrongdoer in order to win the confidence of citizenry and strengthen the democratic values for healthy and prosperous democracy. For this, your applicant shall ever pray to you, Hon’ble Sir.

                                                                              Yours sincerely

Date-08/01/2024              Yogi M. P. Singh, Mobile number-7379105911, Mohalla- Surekapuram, Riva Road, District-Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, Pin code-231001.

  1. It seems that democracy has been crushed in this largest democracy in the world. Supreme court must take action and interfere to overcome this anarchy. Electronic voting machines are no more credible in comparison to ballot paper election. There is successive degradation of the constitutional values in this largest democracy in the world and apex court is mute is spectator of it.

  2. How to elect representative is the right of voters and if voters want that they may be allowed to vote on ballot paper then it is obligatory duty of the government staff to facilitate voters to exercise their franchise on the ballot paper but it is not being done deliberately by Modi government is a matter of concern.

  3. If the electorates have no faith in the electronic voting machines, then why Election Commission of India is imposing electronic voting machines on the electorates to exercise the franchise. Whether it is not the conspiracy to hijack the democracy of this country. When the integrity of the electronic voting machines are under cloud then it must be removed from the electoral process and most of the countries are not using electronic voting machines for the voting purposes because of its incredibility.
