* Prayer or Relief Sought It is quite obvious that following application under subsection 1 of section 6 of the right to Information Act 2005 to seek information from the executive officer municipality Mirzapur city was submitted by the appellant on 22nd May 2023 and it is 8th November 2023 which implies that 5 months and 15 days passed but it is most unfortunate executive officer municipality Mirzapur city did not provide information because of the dereliction of duty by the nodal officer Susheel Chandra Gupta. It is quite obvious that nodal officer is the facilitator in providing information to the information seekers but here job of the nodal officer is to be instrumental in concealment the information from the information seekers which is a mockery of the provisions of right to Information Act 2005. The appellant has submitted several applications under right to Information Act 2005 in local bodies directorate, but its nodal officer never transferred the RTI application to the concerned public information officers because of rampant corruption in the working of the local bodies directorate.

Right to Information Act 2005 was introduced by the Government of India to promote transparency and accountability in the working of the public authorities but it is most unfortunate because of corruption public authorities like local bodies directorate is not providing any information to the information seekers because of the fear that their corruption will be exposed in the public domain and citizens will know their real character.
It is submitted before the Honourable Sir following is the status of the RTI Application through which appellant sought aforementioned information regarding the Danghar ward of municipality Mirzapur city. Registration Number DIRLB/R/2022/60011 Name Yogi M P Singh Date of Filing 26/02/2022 Status RTI REQUEST RECEIVED as on 26/02/2022 It is evident that SUSHEEL CHANDRA GUPTA is procrastinating on every application received on the RTI Portal of the government of Uttar Pradesh causing manifold increase in the corruption of Local bodies. On the one side of screen, our chief minister advocates transparency and accountability in the government machinery but on the other side of screen appointing SUSHEEL CHANDRA GUPTA like corrupt bureaucrats at the key post who are making mockery of the provisions of the Right to Information Act 2005. Please order a transparent enquiry by an honest person of impeccable integrity to fix the accountability of the SUSHEEL CHANDRA GUPTA. As the departmental heads in the field offices are the Public Information Officers of the such offices.
1-PIO may provide the information of the total development fund provided by the government to Danghar ward of municipality Mirzapur city year wise for the current five years term. a-Estimates of various development schemes. b-Work booklet. c-Total invoices. d-Total fund granted to the aforementioned ward with a description of the scheme. Detail of public staff who monitored the implementation of these works from site inspection to payment.
2-PIO may provide the project details executed by the municipality Mirzapur city through the aforementioned funds as required under point one.
3-PIO may provide the estimates and invoices regarding the projects as sought under point two by the information seeker.
4-Please provide the information regarding voluntary disclosure of information by the municipality Mirzapur city as required under subsection 1b of section 4 of the right to information act 2005. As far as my knowledge is concerned, you did not provide single information under the aforementioned section of the right to information act 2005.
5-Provide the posting details of the class one and class two staff of the municipality Mirzapur city currently working and those transferred in five years.
