* Prayer or Relief Sought Registration Number UPICM/R/2021/60157 Date of Filing 13/08/2021 Name Yogi M P Singh Short submissions are as follows.1-Public authority Uttar Pradesh Information Commission received aforementioned RTI request on 13 Aug 2021 and today is 24 Sept 2021 which means one month 12 days passed but information was not made by the concerned public information officer of the public authority Uttar Pradesh Information Commission within stipulated time 30 days as prescribed under subsection 1 of section 7 of the Right to Information Act 2005 consequently PIO violated the subsection 1 of section 7 of the Right to Information Act 2005 which invites action under disciplinary proceeding awarded to undisciplined staff of the government. In the aforementioned RTI Application, appellant sought five point information concerning the recovery of pecuniary penalties imposed on the wrongdoer public information officers but it is most unfortunate that his working style is cryptic and mysterious in the matter. From the circumstantial evidence, it is quite obvious that the public information officer itself shields the corrupt activities by concealing the information from the aggrieved people in a cryptic and mysterious way. Think about the gravity of situation that multiple years passed since the date order of recovery was issued by information commission, government of Uttar Pradesh ipso facto obvious from the attached document to the appeal but no recovery was made by concerned and information commission, government of Uttar Pradesh itself not serious about the recovery is not only surprising but reflects anarchy in the working of the information commission, government of Uttar Pradesh itself. Whether any PIO will provide information to the information seekers if there is fear of penal action imposed under section 20 of the Right to Information Act 2005 by the information commission, government of Uttar Pradesh.

1-Copy of Treasury Challan made in the four cases by erring public information officers to comply the order passed by Uttar Pradesh State Information Commission.
2-Name of the PIO, still not paid the imposed penalty with detail of cause, not complying order of the Uttar Pradesh State Information Commission.
3-Reason of failure of D. M. Mirzapur in ensuring compliance of Uttar Pradesh State Information Commission orders attached to R.T.I. communiqué.

Think about the gravity of situation if the public information officers will not be punished by the government in this cryptic manner then how will they provide information to the information seekers?
ReplyDeleteThink about our miserable conditions that our political masters always make false claims with the citizens of this country but the factual position is that we are being crushed in this anarchy. Think about the gravity of situation that several years passed but the recovery of penalty could not be carried out from the wrongdoer public information officers of the Government of Uttar Pradesh which is a mockery of the provisions of right to information act 2005.
