The matter concerns the chief engineer Division-Vindhyachal District-Mirzapur, who do not pick up the mobile phones of the consumers and informers providing information concerning theft of electricity. Aggrieved applicant made call to the chief engineer from mobile number-7379105911 on his mobile number-9450963509 but he did not pick up the phone and many consumers also make such complaints. Consumers allege that he feels under privileged to talk with the common people and gets irritated if some one makes complaint to him. Think about the gravity of situation that if the treatment of the most senior rank officer of the Uttar Pradesh power corporation limited will be so unproductive, then think about the subordinates. Applicant has some information in order to curb the theft of electricity which was forwarded by the nodal officer in the office of the managing director to the chief engineer and the applicant made efforts to contact him and know more feedback as the matter concerns large scale theft of electricity vide attached document to the grievance. His reluctant approach only frustrated your applicant whose sole motive is to curb corruption from public offices and betterment of society. Description of Information Sought The matter concerns the theft of electricity on the large scale and arbitrary billings to harass the genuine consumers in the working of S.D.O. Jigana and paralysed activity of the vigilance team employed in the department of the electricity electricity distribution division II, District-Mirzapur. Unfortunately the loss incurred to the department of electricity which is the source of the backdoor income of the corrupt staff of the department of the electricity can not be compensated through arbitrary billings by the corrupt staff. But who will explain it to the corrupts who are promoting it on the large scale by hijacking the administrative set up through arbitrariness and tyranny. Public information officer, EDD II, District-Mirzapur may provide the following information point wise to the information seeker as sought. 1-Name and designation of the staff posted in the Jigna subdivision and their posting details including date of joining in the district Mirzapur. 2-S.D.O. Jigana may provide the action taken details against the theft of electricity within six months including recovery of penalties. 3-Executive engineer EDD II District-Mirzapur, may provide the details of the vigilance team working in his ambit and their contact information including executive mobile numbers, emails. 4-Executive engineer EDD II District-Mirzapur may provide details of action taken by the vigilance team within six months and recovery of the penalties and registered cases against theft of electricity. 5-S.D.O. According to Executive Engineering EDD II only 20 electric meters are installed on connections out of 270 electricity connections and fctual position is that only one electric meter is installed in the village panchayat in the premises of deceased Rajendra Pratap Singh S/O Devraj Singh. The matter concerns the negligence of the vigilance team district Mirzapur which is not taking any action on the request of the executive Engineer electricity distribution division second quite obvious from the attached document. Everyone knows that line loss is because of the theft of electricity which is not curbed by the vigilance team of the department of electricity but they are not taking care of it. It seems that there is no coordination in the department his deals with the distribution of electricity and the vigilance team.

ReplyDeleteWhether junior engineer visited the premises of the 10 connection holders to install electric meter?
ReplyDeleteI think that a concerned junior engineer must visit the premises of the consumers which is his obligatory duty and mark at least 10 customers to install electric meters so that a wave to install electric meters in the subdivision area may circulate which will cause less line loss.
