Mr. First Appellate Authority Right to Information Act 2005 is the special Act passed for specific purpose to provide information to citizens of this country dealing with the provisions available under Right to Information Act 2005. CPIO denial of sought information is arbitrary and ultra vires to the provisions of Right to Information Act. According to subsection 1 d of section 4 of the Right to Information Act 2005, it shall be obligatory duty of every public authority to provide reasons for its decisions to parties concerned. It is unfortunate that decisions of CPIO denying sought information is corrupt, arbitrary and cryptic in nature and showing he is incompetent for the post of CP[O ipso facto. CPIO is acting against the spirit of RTI Act 2005.

Think about the gravity of situation that this central public information officer did not comply the order passed by the central information commission.
ReplyDeleteWhether such offices had the regard for the provisions of the right to information act 2005 when they are not complying the order passed by the transparency ombudsman in the cases of non compliance of the provisions, order passed by the central information commission.
Quantum of corruption in the government machinery can be guessed from the fact that they did not provide information under right to information act 2005 quite obvious from the cryptic working style of the prime minister office.
ReplyDeleteHere prime minister office did not provide information because it did not want that prevailed corruption in the state of Uttar Pradesh may be curbed.
Undoubtedly Modi Government is playing negative role by concealing the information concerned with the working of the prime minister office. Criteria to work always remained biased as it always promoted corrupt [in the government offices and never respected knowledge because they themselves are incompetent.
