Short submissions of the appellant are as follows.
Description of sought information, Description of sought information provided information by public information officer through its communication dated-22 Feb. 2024 uploaded on RTI portal and submissions of the appellant point wise as follows.
Sought information 1- Right to information act 2005 was introduced by the government of India to promote transparency and accountability in the working of public authorities. Right to reason is an indispensable part of the sound administrative system so the public information officer must provide the reason for not updating the name of the public information officer of the electricity distribution division second District Mirzapur.
Sought information 2- Public information officer must provide the reason for not providing the email and official mobile number to the RTI portal which is essential in accordance with the guidelines passed by the Apex Court of India also in compliance with the guidelines of the Department of administrative reform.
Reply of the public information officer regarding point one and two are the same which is as follows.
Description of public information officer was sent by superintending engineer to nodal officer through its later number-1683, dated-25 Sept.2024.
Submission of the appellant- It is quite obvious from point 1 and 2 the appellant has sought two different reasons regarding the non-performance of duties by the concerned officers timely and appropriately. Who will compensate the detriments suffered by the information seekers due to non-availability of information on the RTI portal because of the dereliction of duty by the concerned accountable staff?
It Is obvious that public information officer did not provide the reason sought by the appellant under point1 and 2 ipso facto.
Whether it is justified that public information officer may provide the arbitrary reply to the information seekers as done in the current matter by the executive engineer electricity distribution division 2nd district Mirzapur.
Sought information 3- Provide the name and designation of the staff who are vested with the power to update the information on the RTI portal of the government of Uttar Pradesh.

This is a humble request of the appellant to take action against the public information officer who deliberately denied information and misled the information seeker.
This is a humble request of your appellant to you Hon'ble Sir that how can it be justified to withhold public services arbitrarily and promote anarchy, lawlessness, and chaos arbitrarily by making the mockery of law of land? There is need of the hour to take harsh steps against the wrongdoer to win the confidence of citizenry and strengthen the democratic values for healthy and prosperous democracy. For this, your appellant shall ever pray for you, Hon’ble Sir.
