* Prayer or Relief Sought From the following status of the submitted RTI application of the appellant on the rti portal of the government of Uttar Pradesh, it is quite obvious that the RTI application was submitted by the appellant on 25th February 2024 which was forwarded to the public information officer on 27th February 2024. During this period, the Public information officer neither provided information to the appellant nor made any communication in order to provide information to the appellant. Thus we observe that the public information officer violated subsection one of section 7 of the right to formation act 2005. Therefore it is expected from the first appellate authority to take disciplinary action against the public information officer for violating the provisions of the right to information act 2005.

The matter concerns the arbitrary action of the government of Uttar Pradesh in which several thousand Ration cards are arbitrarily canceled without any fault of the license card holders or their family members. Which is the root cause, the concerned public authority is not providing any information concerning the arbitrary action taken by the department which is reflecting jungle raj in the state.
Why is the public information officer running away from providing information to the information seeker must provide the reason for it as required under subsection 1 d of section 4 of the right to information act 2005?
The Right to Information Act 2005 was introduced by the government of India during the regime of Congress to promote transparency and accountability in the working of the public authorities but after 19 years our public information officers could not know what is the prescribed time to provide information to the information seekers?
It seems that subsequent governments at the states and in the center threw the provisions of the transparency act into the dustbin.
Now it seems that our executives and political masters are so incredible that whatever they speculate never follows those things in reality, which means they only make an effort to fool innocent and gullible people.
This is a humble request of the appellant to the most respected Sir to take appropriate action in the matter so that concerned public information officers may provide the information to the information seeker and learn a lesson so that this bad precedent may not be set up in our society.
