According to the aforementioned provision of Right Information Act 2005, a public information officer has to provide information within the stipulated time of 30 day. This 30 days is counted from the date of receipt of RTI Communique in the office of public authority.Without any doubt, Public Information Officer failed to provide information and did not communicate the reason for not providing information. Action must be taken against the PIO collectorate for still not providing information. Violation of provisions of transparency act by the PIO can not be overlooked by the senior rank officer who will entertain this first appeal.

Whether to deny following information by the SDM Sadar and Tahsildar Sadar on the flimsy ground against the spirit of R.T.I. Act 2005 is not showing rampant corruption in their working style.

It is quite obvious that concerned public information officer has made the mockery of the right to information act 2005 and it is quite obvious that concerned public information officer has no care for the transparency ombudsman state information commission because Yogi Adityanath government in the state of Uttar Pradesh has hatched a conspiracy with the right to information act 2005 by diluting its provisions and taking information commissioners in the transparency ombudsman under good faith who blindly support the the stands of corrupt public functionaries in the Government of Uttar Pradesh who wants to conceal the information as they are frightened to be exposed and there correct this may come into the public.
ReplyDeleteNot a single point information was made available by the office of tehsildar Sadar and office of sub divisional magistrate Sadar quite obvious from the post which is a mockery of the law of land and provisions of right to information act 2005.
ReplyDeleteRight to information act 2005 was introduced by the government of India to curb the growing corruption in the public offices during the Congress regime and to provide the share of the administrative machinery to the citizens of this country directly but when the BJP government came into power under the leadership of Narendra Modi then it began to dilute the provisions of right to information act 2005 and now position is that not a single point information is being provided by the the government functionaries at this time.
We need good governance where there may be rule of government machinery but our political masters talk of making legislation and mislead people through print and electronic media in the name making new legislation but the fact is that no one controls lawlessness and anarchy in the administrative setup which is hijacking the rights of entire sections and filling the pockets of the corrupt public functionaries in this country.
