Prayer- Public information officer Provided incomplete and misleading information to the appellant and when the appeal made by the appellant before the first appellate authority then same information provided by the public information officer attached in the status of the RTI first appeal.

Short submissions of the appellant are as follows.

Sought information, reply of the public information officer and submissions of the appellant are as follows. 

1-If the executive engineer electricity distribution division second sent the communication letter number-7475, dated-20 October 2023 to the sub divisional officer Jangi Road electricity distribution division 2nd for one more inquiry into the matter, then his obligatory duty is to ensure the speedy process in the matter as there is undue delay has been already made because of the procrastination of the concerned staff in the matter. 

Public information officer may provide the enquiry report of the enquiry officer nominated on 20th October 2023 through letter number 7475. 

Reply of the public information officer- Inquiry report has not been received. 

2-Public information officer may provide the maximum time taken by the inquiry officer to submit the enquiry report as well as how many more enquiries will be ordered in the matter. 

Reply of the public information officer- The information of the future is not possible to provide under the right to information. 

The submission of the appellant- Most respected Sir every inquiry ordered is completed under the due procedure of the law and enquiry must be carried out in the prescribed time under the law and in the case of uncertainty it must be completed as soon as possible.

 Right to information act was introduced by government of India to promote transparency and accountability in the working of public authority. 

It seems that the Department of electricity is governed under the arbitrarily law which is the root cause inquiry carried out under the prescribed procedure of the department does not take place in a time bound manner. 

3-More than two and half years already passed and now the victim wants to ask one question from executive engineer electricity distribution division second Mr Rajesh Kumar that how much additional time will be taken by him in completing the processing of the compensation to provide the victim? 


Reply of the public information officer- After the report of DIRECTORATE ELECTRICAL SAFETY, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Department may proceed for compensation. 

The submission of the appellant-PIO deviated attention from core issues and provided misleading information. 

4-Provide the parameters set by the department of electricity to provide the compensation including processing of the complaints to the victims of short circuit and likewise matter.

5- Provide the reason not to make enquiry by the department personnel when the matter of short circuit was reported to the department, quite obvious that the matter is too old.

Honourable Sir must direct public information officer to provide information instead of deviating the attention from core issue.

This is a humble request of your applicant to you Hon'ble Sir that how can it be justified to withhold public services arbitrarily and promote anarchy, lawlessness, and chaos arbitrarily by making the mockery of law of land? There is need of the hour to take harsh steps against the wrongdoer to win the confidence of citizenry and strengthen the democratic values for healthy and prosperous democracy. For this, your appellant shall ever pray for you, Hon’ble Sir.
