* Description of Information Sought In Prayagraj, a case of theft of two bikes was reported from the police station on the same day. The thieves have embarrassed the police. Thieves have also stolen a dozen bikes in the area in the last three months.
Those who have the responsibility of guarding the society, their own house is no longer safe. A sample of this was seen in Mauaima police station of Prayagraj district. Thieves blew up two bikes in one day from the police station premises. Thieves have also stolen a dozen bikes in the area in the last three months.
On December 1, Shivsagar Patel, a resident of village Naugira, came to Mauaima police station with a complaint. Meanwhile, the bike was parked in the police station premises and thieves blew it up. In front of this, another bike parked in the old police station premises also disappeared by the thieves. Consequently the thieves stole two bicycles on the first December 2023. Public information officer in the office of Director General of Police Uttar Pradesh must provide the following information print wise as follows.
1- Public information officer must provide the information concerning circular, office memo government orders exchanged with the commissioner of police prayagraj regarding to curb the growing criminal activities in this class one district because of the dereliction of duty of the police personnel.
2- Please provide the action taken by the commissioner of police Prayagraj in the case of steep hike in the cases of theft concerning bikes under the jurisdiction of police station Mauaima district Prayagraj which is quite obvious from the attached document to the online rtia application.
3-People say that In incidents of bike theft, the police do not register a case in the first place. If anyhow the case is registered on the instructions of senior rank authorities, then in the name of investigation, it is put into a cold bag.
Right to reason is an indispensable part of a sound administrative system, so provide the reason for the procrastination of the police in registering the first information report in cases of bike theft.
4- Please provide the case detail if any worked out by the Mauaima police concerning the theft of motorcycles/bikes in the last 6 months.
5- Please provide the punitive action taken by the commissioner of police on the rise of the theft of motorcycles/bikes against the police personnel to fix accountability.
6- Please provide the communications exchanged by the commissioner of police Prayagraj with the station house officer of police station Mauaima or circle officer Phoolpur concerning the steep hike in theft cases of bikes.

प्रयागराज में पुलिस थाने से एक ही दिन में दो बाइक चोरी करने का मामला सामने आया है। चोरों ने पुलिस की किरकिरी करा दी है। इसके अलावा चोर पिछले तीन माह में क्षेत्र में एक दर्जन बाइक चोरी कर चुके हैं।
जिन पर समाज के रखवाली की जिम्मेदारी है उनका अपना घर भी अब सुरक्षित नहीं रहा। इसका नमूना प्रयागराज जिले के मऊआइमा थाने में देखने को मिला। थाना परिसर से ही एक दिन में चोरों ने दो बाइक उड़ा दी। इसके अलावा चोर पिछले तीन माह में क्षेत्र में एक दर्जन बाइक चोरी कर चुके हैं।
एक दिसंबर को ग्राम नौगिरा निवासी शिवसागर पटेल मऊआइमा थाने में फरियाद लेकर आए थे। इस बीच थाना परिसर में खड़ी बाइक चोरों ने उड़ा दी। इसी के सामने पुराने थाना परिसर में खड़ी एक अन्य बाइक भी चोरों ने गायब कर दी।
आठ नवंबर को प्रतापगढ़ के अजीत नगर मुकुंदगंज निवासी ओमप्रकाश पड़ाव चौराहा निवासी अपने बहनोई संतोष कुमार से मिलने आए थे। चोरों ने उनकी बाइक उड़ा दी। 11 नवंबर को प्रतापगढ़ के थाना हथिगवां निवासी रंजीत यादव की बाइक मऊआइमा स्थित एक निजी अस्पताल के सामने से चोरी हो गई।
15 अक्तूबर को मोहल्ला मौलाना निवासी मुअज्जम अली की घर के सामने खड़ी बाइक शुक्रवार को चोरों ने उड़ा दी। 29 सितंबर को पुरखीपुर गांव निवासी रामचंद्र की बाइक चोरी हो गई। 18 सितंबर को हरिसेनगंज बाजार निवासी शंकरलाल के घर के बाहर खड़ी मोटरसाइकिल पर चोरों ने हाथ साफ कर दिया था।
15 सितंबर को देल्हूपुर थाना क्षेत्र के देवईनी निवासी छात्र विवेक कुमार की बाइक थाने के पास स्थित कोचिंग सेंटर से चोरों ने गायब कर दी। 12 सितंबर को रतनसेनपुर गांव निवासी नवाब अली की बाइक चोरों ने उड़ा दी।
लोगों को कहना है कि बाइक चोरी जैसी घटनाओं में पुलिस पहले तो मुकदमा दर्ज नहीं करती। यदि अधिकारियों के निर्देश पर मुकदमा दर्ज भी कर लिया जाता है तो जांच के नाम पर उसे ठंडे बस्ते में डाल दिया जाता है।
