This implies that public information officer violated subsection one half section 7 of the right to information at 2005 which  states that public information officer has to provide information within stipulated 30 days from the date of receipt of the application in the office of the public authority and this provision has been categorically violated by the public information officer. It is to be noted that the concerned public information officer also violated subsection 3 of section 6 of the right to information act 2005 because under this provision he had to forward the rti application within one week from the date when he received the application from the Appellant or the public authority which transferred to him. The matter concerns the village development officer village and post-Nibi Gaharwar development block- Chhanbey, District-Mirzapur, Pin Code 231303. The matter comes under the supervision of block development officer Chhanbey District- Mirzapur. The information seeker is seeking information from village development officer Nibi Gaharwar.It is quite obvious that those concerned are running away from providing information to the information seekers because of the rampant corruption in the developmental activities carried out in the departments of the government of Uttar Pradesh.   Right to information act 2005 was introduced by government of India to promote transparency and accountability in the working of public authorities but the miserable condition is that not a single information is being provided by the public authorities to conceal its corruption this is a mockery of the provisions of right to information act 2005. Undoubtedly we are facing precarious situation in the current time because of the tyranny and arbitrariness of the public staff.
