Traffic is frequently blocked because of cows, bulls and buffaloes wondering on the states but it is most unfortunate that no action is being taken on the representations of public-spirited persons by the concerned public staff. Our motive is good governance but, in this way, good governance can never be achieved because public staff solve the problems of the people only on the print and electronic media not on the grassroot level. Sir, the municipal staff who catch stray animals will catch them at one place and take them to another place and leave them. Sir, can this problem be solved in this way? Sir, due to these stray animals, there is a problem of traffic jam every day, but the administration remains insensitive. Think, despite complaints, no action is being taken, does it not show how insensitive our administrative system is to the problems of the people. Sir, is this the definition of good governance? People keep getting injured due to these stray animals, but it does not affect the administration. LUCKNOW The Uttar Pradesh government Thursday allocated Rs 1,200 crore for a scheme for girls and Rs 612 crore for stray cattle and construction of cow shelters in the Budget for the 2019-20 financial year ahead of the Lok Sabha polls. Rs 247.60 crore has been allocated for the maintenance and construction of cow sheds in the Uttar Pradesh Budget year 2019-20. Rs 200 crores have been earmarked for the upkeep of stray cattle in the Uttar Pradesh Budget year 2019-20. A provision of Rs 40 crore has been made to set up impounding houses cattle shelter homes under the 'Kanha Gaushala Evam Beshara Pashu Ashraya Yojna in the new budget. Think about the gravity of the situation that most of the stray animals are still wandering on the roads. Just in front of my gate, there are five cows which proves the mismanagement of the department. Pictures are attached for your perusal. Information sought concerning the fund spent on the construction of cow sheds is still pending before the public authority for many months. Please take the action in the matter at the earliest
