Grievance Description

The matter concerns the non picking up mobile phone Telephone Number:- 9918001532 given on the RTI portal by the concerned public information officer in the office of Lucknow Development Authority. Sir, the applicant contacted the PIO concerned on 02 Oct 2021 and she told she is new and today is holiday in the wake of Gandhi Jayanti so call on Monday during office hours. On Monday I did call, then an individual talked to me introducing itself as L.D.A. Staff and asked me to send information whatever I sought and I sent the link of the post containing the RTI request and subsequent appeal from my blogger post on whatsapp provided by that stranger. She denied information on 08/10/2021 by taking the recourse of formation of the committee to look into the matter. Yesterday I called her two times and she again did not pick up the call. Here this question arises that whether the government has provided the mobile numbers on the RTI portal for facilities of the information seekers are merely show pieces. Everyone knows that sought information under RTI Act can be denied under section 8 and 9 of Right to Information Act 2005 but she did not provide any reason for denying information as required under subsection 1 d of section 4 of Right to Information Act 2005.Consequently she must pick up the call of the information seeker if made by the information seeker on the aforementioned public mobile number given for the help of information seekers. Good governance must be visible in the action of the public authorities. Undoubtedly it is cryptic that mobile numbers are provided for the public help but  the concerned never pick up to respond to the caller. Justice delayed is justice denied is the maxim is generally used by the Honourable justices during the course of proceedings in the temple of justice. Near about 1 year is to pass since the date committee was formed by the Lucknow development authority in the matter to check the illegal allotment of the government plots and disobedience of the court order past in the matter. Justice without force is impotent and the force without justice is tyranny and this maxim is quite relevant in such scenario. Earlier more than 3 years they were seeking documents from the Anuradha Singh and the other holders of the plots and when they did not provide any document as the registry was done in favour of them illegally by Lucknow development authority so Lucknow development authority is making excuses to keep itself silent and provide false assurances to the aggrieved. It seems that public functionary in state of Uttar Pradesh are perpetrating corruption in government machinery under Mask of honesty.
