Grievance Description
The matter concerns the working of the executive Engineer electricity distribution division second district Mirzapur working under the supervision of chief engineer division Mirzapur.
Lackadaisical approach of the government of Uttar Pradesh in paying compensation to the farmers in the matter of burning of crops due to short circuit concerning with the Uttar Pradesh power corporation.
On the one side of a screen our executives claim to provide corruption free governance which main component is transparency and accountability in the working of the public authorities.
From the longer procrastination on the part of the staff of the Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam it has been clear that there is no transparency and accountability in the working of the concerned public staff and also showing the negligent approach of the government in the matter providing compensation to the farmers in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
In our canon law it is generally accepted two types of proof of corruption in the working of the public authority. 1- direct evidence off corruption and 2- circumstantial evidence of corruption.
Whether there is accountability in the governance of state then it is obligatory duty of the concerned staff to reveal the reason for the delay in this matter to provide compensation to the applicant because three years already passed since the date when the crops burnt due to short circuit.
Under the current scenario, It is approved that the government in the state of Uttar Pradesh headed by Yogi Adityanath is not farmers friendly government and here interest of farmers are being overlooked by the government staff due to the rampant corruption in the government machinery. It is a well accepted fact that this practice is setting up bad precedent for future.

Grievance Description-As it has been already informed by the executive Engineer electricity distribution division second that in the matter of compensation action is taken by the chief engineer division Mirzapur. Now it is his obligatory duty to forward the matter to the chief engineer so that the former may get compensation in the matter of the burning of the crop due to a short circuit. For this, the applicant shall ever pray for you, most respected sir.
It is quite obvious from the report of the sub divisional officer officer that he has sent the report regarding the matter to the office of executive engineer electricity distribution division second Mr Rajesh Kumar so next action will be taken by the excutive engineer electricity distribution division second Mr Rajesh Kumar in the matter.
Please direct the concerned accountable officer to take action in the matter abruptly without any further delay as already 3 years passed and compensation to the farmer could not be provided by the local office of the Uttar Pradesh Power corporation.
