It is obligatory duty of the applicant under Article 51A of the Constitution of India to inform the department of petroleum and natural gas regarding such activities so that appropriate action may be taken by the department of the government in the matter.

Grievance Description- The matter concerns the construction by the Pachu Yadav and Panna Yadav in the prohibited area where a pipeline of the ministry of Petroleum has been laid down so action must be taken against them under the Petroleum and Minerals pipelines (Acquisition of the right of user in the land) Amendment Act 2011.

This grievance was redressed by the staff of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited as follows.

Brijesh Kumar Pandey assistant manager Indian Oil Corporation Limited, pipelines section, district-Prayagraj quotes in its communication dated 28th November 2023 as follows.

Reference-In registration number: MPANG/E/2023/0006369 dated-08/10/2023.

Sir, following is the reply to the matter raised by you through the reference case number.

According to P.M.P. Act 1962, 60 feet R.O.U. was acquired.

It is quite obvious that two months passed since the date when the application was made by the complainant unfortunately no action has been taken by the concerned staff of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, pipelines section, district-Prayagraj. Which is showing lackadaisical approach of the staff of the Indian Oil Corporation limited.

The dereliction of duty of the concerned staff of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited, pipelines section, district-Prayagraj may cause serious accident in the area so they must take the matter seriously.
