* Description of Information Sought Not a single information is being provided by the public information officer in the regional office Varanasi of the board of secondary education, evident from his cryptic denial of information by submitting inconsistent reply in replying to the application submitted under right to information act 2005. The information seeker sought information from him concerning transfer and posting of the staff in the regional office of board of secondary education. There is rampant corruption in the working of the regional office Varanasi which is the root-cause concerned public information officer is not providing any information to the information seeker.

1-Public Information Officer in the office of additional secretary regional office Varanasi of U. P. Board may provide his first posting details in which district and on which date his first posting took place.
2-Public Information Officer in the office of additional secretary regional office Varanasi of U. P. Board may tell the applicant that on which date he joined the regional office Varanasi , what was his post at that time

From the status of the RTI application it is quite obvious that nodal officer of the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad forwarded the rti application on 17th November 2023 and it is 14th January 2024 which means near about two months passed but concerned public information officer did not entertain the RTI application of the appellant which is a mockery of the provisions of right to information act 2005. It is quite obvious that the concerned public information officer violated subsection one of section 7 of the right to information act 2005 so disciplinary action must be taken against him for the breach of provision of the right to information act 2005 and information must be provided instantaneously by the concerned public information officer.
