Grievance Description

The matter concerns the commissioner of police Gautam Budh Nagar Uttar Pradesh so it must be forwarded to him for appropriate action in the matter concerning the deep-rooted corruption. The following matter concerns the deep rooted corruption in our society but it is most unfortunate that there is no transparency and accountability in dealing with the following matter concerning with deep rooted corruption in the Department of income tax, where large scale tax evasion because of such fraudulent elements are taking place and our police and personnel of Department of income tax are mute spectators of such things. Additional director general vigilance headquarter-5 New Delhi also informed the applicant that Gautam Budh Nagar police did not inform about the syndicate/racket unearthed by it which blatantly misused the PAN of the innocent and gullible people through forgery resulting in huge loss to the public exchequer in the form of large-scale tax evasion. It is most unfortunate that if a common citizen will make a complaint regarding the blatant misuse of the PAN by fraudulent elements then you will say that the matter concerns the Department of income tax or Ministry of finance and you will overlook the matter of cyber-crime on the flimsy ground in such a way while the law and order is the state subject in the constitution of India. It is too surprising that the matter concerning the Department of income tax is not being forwarded to the income tax which ought to be forwarded. If it has been forwarded, then it had to be revealed by the concerned staff of the police to the applicant under the provisions of right to information act 2005. It seems that the concerned police has only proved its activism before the eyes of the public and now they are not taking any action in the matter and making efforts to put the entire matter under the carpet.

The matter concerns Gautam Budh Nagar police have busted a gang of eight people who were unscrupulously misusing permanent account number (PAN) cards of 635,000 people for over five years and created 2,660 shell companies to evade Goods and Services Tax (GST) worth multiple crores, deputy commissioner of police (Noida) Harish Chander said on Thursday as reported Jun 02, 2023 04:48 AM IST by Hindustan Times. The suspects have been identified as Yasin Sheikh, 38, of Mumbai, Akash Saini, 21, of Sahibabad, Atul Sengar, 23, of Hathras, Avni, 25, of Noida, Deepak Murjani, 48, his wife Vinita, 45, Vishal, 20, and Rajeev, 38, (all Delhi).
