विषय-There is an unusual disruption of the supply of electricity in Mohalla Surekapuram, Sri Lakshmi Narayan Baikunth Mahadev Mandir, Rewa road Mirzapur City. Theft of electricity is playing the core role in the disruption of the supply of the electricity. According to the rule the electricity metres must be installed outside the premises but generally it is kept inside the premise to facilitate the theft of electricity. The last year on the complaint of the applicant deep checking of the theft of electricity was carried out by the staff of the vigilance and numerous connections were disconnected by them because irregularities were found in the premises like overloading etc. It is most surprising that after bargaining with the connection holders department managed everything and no recovery was carried out from the defaulters as penalties are imposed if the irregularities are found. Search practices are quite common in the working of the electricity distribution division second Mirzapur. Everyone knows that the government claims to provide a 24 hour supply of electricity but if it may be confirmed by seeking description details as done by the applicant time and again then on the part of executive engineer electricity distribution division second Mirzapur then he himself failed to provide 24 hours quite obvious from his report made available time and again on the undisrupted supply of electricity. According to the report of executive Engineer maximum possible supply of electricity is 22 hours per day in the urban area. 

विंध्य धाम क्षेत्र में बिजली की कटौती से लोग परेशान पानी के लिए भटकते रहे दर्शनार्थी, हैंडपंप का ही रहा सहारा . संवाद न्यूज एजेंसी विंध्याचल । विंध्य धाम क्षेत्र में वृहस्पतिवार को सुबह से लेकर शाम तक तक बिजली कटौती होने से नागरिक परेशान रहे। बिजली . कटौती के कारण दूरदराज से आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं को परेशानी हो रही है। मां विंध्यवासिनी माता के दरबार मे प्रतिदिन हजारों की संख्या में श्रद्धालु दर्शन करने के लिए आते हैं। वे जगह-जगह ठहर कर मां को चढ़ाने के लिए हलवा व पूड़ी का भोग बनाते हैं। तीर्थ पुरोहित उनके लिए व्यवस्था करते हैं। ऐसे में बिजली की कटौती उनके लिए कष्टकारी साबित हो रहा है। पानी के लिए भी लोगों को काफी भागदौड़ करनी पड़ी। बिजली न होने से ट्यूबवेल नहीं चले। इससे दर्शनार्थियों को पानी नहीं मिल सका। भीषण गर्मी के मौसम में लोग काफी परेशान नजर आए। इस संबंध में विद्युत वितरण खंड द्वितीय के अधिशासी अभियंता राजेश कुमार ने बताया कि अमृत योजना के अंतर्गत बिजली का कनेक्शन देने के लिए पोल एवं तारों का मरम्मत कार्य किया जा रहा है। इससे यह कटौती की गई थी। इसके लिए क्षेत्र में सूचना दी गई थी तथा विभाग की ओर से निर्देश भी जारी कर दिए गए थे। बाकी कहीं भी अनियमितता मिलने पर जरूरी कदम उठाए जाएंगे।
