Nearabout nine months passed but the circle office C.O. Soraon now C.O. Phulpur did not provide the information sought by the information seeker still. Undoubtedly it is a mockery of the provisions of the Right to Information Act 2005. The act of the aforementioned officer is willful denial of sought information and depriving information seeker from the information arbitrarily. Where is good governance if the provisions of the law are deliberately encroached time and again. There is no transparency and accountability in the working of the public authority which is the root cause of not providing information to the information seeker.
First Appellate Authority may direct the PIO concerned to provide information to the information seeker. The information seeker sought the following information from the concerned police as follows.
१- Provide the circular by taking recourse of which Station Officer Mau Aima has restrained the construction work.
2-If the opposite party has managed any stay order from any competent court, then provide the copy of the order.
3-Please provide the number of cases registered by the Mau Aima police against illegal trade of Liquor business in the current financial year.
4-Please provide the number of cases registered by the Mauaima police against illegal trade of Liquor business in the financial year 2021-22.
5-Please provide the number of cases registered by the Mauaima police against illegal trade of Liquor business in the financial year 2020-21.

* Description of Information Sought शिकायत संख्या:-40017522135414 आवेदक का नाम-Saurabh Singh alias Rajan Singhविषय-To Station Officer Mau Aima, District-Prayagraj, Uttar PradeshSubject-Sir, applicant is constructing a room at the demolished old house but police instead of taking action against criminal elements preferred to detain the applicant under section 151/107/116 of Cr.P.C. Most respectfully sheweth that 1-Construction is being carried out at the place of Kuchcha house made by our ancestors which was 100 years old. 2-Both Balendra Singh S/O Jang Bahadur Singh and Baleshwar Singh S/O Jang Bahadur Singh work as salesman at a country made liquor shop one at Mau Aima and the other at Pratap Garh. 3-Police instead of looking into facts of the case taking arbitrary action which supports the criminal element. 4-Both Balendra Singh S/O Jang Bahadur Singh and Baleshwar Singh S/O Jang Bahadur Singh sell illegal liquor in the village. 5-The aforementioned duo made a syndicate of drinkers who create nuisance in the society and hurl abuses to the peace loving people.
