Please provide the measures taken by the Chandigarh C.B.I. to curb the corruption in S.B.I. and income tax which is rampant ipso facto. Vide attached document.

Cause of manifold increase in the corruption is 100 percent tolerance of the government to the corruption.

Preventive vigilance is thus more effective than punitive vigilance. It has several advantages: •It is global in its impact and affects the working of the department as a whole. •It is less costly and does not require elaborate specialized machinery like punitive vigilance.
