* Prayer or Relief Sought An appeal under subsection 1 of section 19 of the Right to Information Act 2005 against public information officer in the office of senior superintendent of police District-Prayagraj formerly known as Allahabad.has been sent on the executive emails provided on the RTI website of the government of Uttar Pradesh today.
This appeal is attached to this online appeal for the perusal of the appellate authority. Sir two months 22 days passed but the PIO in office of S.S.P. District-Prayagraj did not provide information to information seeker cum appellant reflects anarchy and lawlessness in the working of the police.
According to subsection 1 of section 7 of the Right to Information Act 2005, PIO has to provide information to the information seeker within stipulated 30 days. Ipso facto PIO has violated this provision of the Right to Information Act 2005.
It is an obligatory duty of the First Appellate Authority in the office of senior superintendent of police District-Prayagraj formerly known as Allahabad to take action against the wrongdoer PIO in accordance with the law and be instrumental in providing information to the appellant.
Description of Information Sought The matter concerns the police station Ghoorpur under Circle Officer Karchhana District Prayagraj specifically.
Public Information Officer in the office of superintendent of police District-Prayagraj may provide the following feedback as sought by the information seeker.
1-Please provide the number of N.C.R. and number of F.I.R. registered in the current financial year police station Ghoorpur District Prayagraj and also the number of cases culminated into section 107/116/151 of Cr. P.C. which is a preventive measure.
2-Provide the fuel expenses in the form of diesel and petrol incurred in the police station Ghoorpur District Prayagraj by the police personnel in the financial year 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 only figures.
3-Please provide the posting details of the ongoing Station House Officer in the police station Ghoorpur District Prayagraj as well as the date of joining in the district Prayagraj. C.U.G. Mobile number details of the circle area Karchhana confined to Ghoorpur. For more details, vide attached document to this appeal.
