we have advised customer to mail us the application for issuing new debit card in case he is not able to visit branch or apply it through online sbi. Also the debit card held with customer is inactive for which no application is received for activation.

DEABD/E/2022/43437 Name Yogi M. P. Singh, issued debit card for the complainant is inactive falsely informed by branch manager
According to the branch manager city branch of the State Bank of India issued debit card for the complainant is inactive.
Here this question arises that why the debit card is inactive when the applicant had not made any application so far to make the debit card inactive and they are charging the annual fee of the debit card.
As far as representation of the applicant regarding the activation of the debit card, I have made several representations on the public grievance portal and made phone call to the customer care center of the State Bank of India and in this report shamelessly concerned stated that debit card is inactive which is a mockery of the law of land and reflecting lawlessness and anarchy in the working of public authority State Bank of India.
Weather to subscribe debit card by a customer is the soul motive to pay the subscription charge to the State Bank of India is not a single transaction was made by the applicant because it is inactive from the initial stage of the transaction. It is the obligatory duty of the concerned branch manager to activate the debit card issue to the customer at the earliest.
Undautedly customers are suffering a lot because of the arbitrariness and tyranny of the staff of the State Bank of India.
Whether to invite the complainant to visit the branch is not a part of conspiracy to Harass the complainant for such a simple job which are redressed online.
Think about this management, lawlessness and anarchy in the city branch that the demand draft which was ordered online had to be delivered at the address of the customer within 5 days but it was delivered in one month.
