((Description of Information sought (upto 500 characters) )

* Prayer or Relief Sought Appellant sought seven point information from Circle Officer Soraon District-Prayagraj but not a single point of information was made available by the Circle Officer Soraon Prayagraj. Undoubtedly, Circle Officer Soraon Prayagraj made the mockery of the RTI Act 2005 therefore disciplinary proceedings must be initiated against him and must be directed to provide information as sought by the appellant. To provide information to the information seekers is the obligatory duty of the public information officer and his/her accountability is fixed under chapter 20 of the Right to Information Act 2005 by state information commission. Here information has been denied by the station officer Mauaima through registered communication unfortunately not containing the covering letter of Circle Officer Soraon Prayagraj. According to point IX of subsection 1 b of section 4 of the Right to Information Act 2005, It shall be obligatory duty of every public authority to publish within one hundred and twenty days from the enactment of this Act, a directory of its officers and employees; It is most unfortunate that circle officer, Soraon, District-Prayagraj did not provide personnel detail posted in the police station Mauaima ipso facto from cryptic denial of Information by the Station Officer Mauaima. More than 15 years passed but police of District Prayagraj ran away from providing information concerning the police personnel posted in the Mauaima police station district Prayagraj.
