Grievance Description
The matter concerns the arbitrary denial of scholarship to the students belonging oppressed section by the department social welfare District Mirzapur. Aggrieved students are making complaint at the local level but they are not responding satisfactorily.
An application on behalf of Dheeraj Kumar Saroj belonging to scheduled caste under Article 51 A of the constitution of India to seek intervention of senior rank staffs as scholarship and fee reimbursement of the aggrieved applicant is not being provided by the concerned public authority arbitrarily. Detail of the aggrieved applicant-Dheeraj Kumar Saroj, Registration Number- 690040222001354, Name of the father-Hinchhlal Saroj, Category-Scheduled caste, Date of Birth-18/07/2000, Village-Bhasigawan, Post-Bhatauli, District-Mirzapur, PIN code-231001Aforementioned aggrieved applicant is the student of Bachelor of Art in third year in the post graduate college G.D. Binani College Mirzapur. Current status of the submitted online application for the scholarship is as follows. Enrollment/ Roll Number not matched with the university uploaded data, Marks mismatch, Result not uploaded yet, Attendance percentage is less than 75 percent. Reply of the aforementioned objections-From the attached status, it is quite obvious that aggrieved applicant made the renewal other than intermediate. He has got the scholarship in the first year and second year. Because of the coronavirus pandemic second year exam could not be conducted in pursuance of the government directives so there is no question to declare the result and those withheld the scholarship are well apprised with the fact. In third year when the institutions remain closed because of the Coronavirus pandemic, how will the students attend the classes?  Undoubtedly scholarship is withheld arbitrarily without adopting cogent approach in the matter so they may provide a logistic report in the matter so that next proceedings may be carried out.
Most of the students were denied scholarship by taking the recourse of the same parrot comment.

  1. Whether large scale denial of scholarship to students belonging to scheduled caste may be justified by the Yogi government in the state?

  2. Government functionaries don't want to provide scholarship to any student but they want to prepare forged list of students. Think about the gravity of situation that student was not provided scholarship arbitrarily and there is no accountability in the state as there is need to fix the accountability of the concerned public functionaries but who will fix it if the corruption is rampant in the government machinery?

  3. There are several irregularities in the disbursement of the scholarship to the students and many of them were exposed by public spirited individuals but it is unfortunate no action is taken on the representations by the accountable public functionaries which is a mockery of the law of land and government must be alert against such corrupt activities.

  4. Government of Uttar Pradesh draws huge fund from the central government to provide the scholarship to the the students belonging to the schedule caste and scheduled tribe but when they got the fund thereafter they deprive the students in such a cryptic manner and whatever fund remains that goes into the pockets of corrupt public functionaries.

  5. Bindura Foundation reaches out to kids because students scholarship in India helps shape youngsters and prepares them to carry out their responsibilities as members of society. In India, scholarships serve as both a financial help and a motivator for students to learn.
