Neither government nor commission press for recovery of imposed penalties under Right to Information Act 2005

Whatever comments you make, it is your responsibility to use facts. You may not make unwanted imputations against any body which may be baseless otherwise commentator itself will be responsible for the derogatory remarks made against any body proved to be false at any appropriate forum.

  1. The matter of fact is that still they have not recovered the imposed penalties and last development is that public information officer of the Uttar Pradesh State Information Commission has requested district magistrate Mirzapur to make available information to the information regarding the recovery but D.M. Mirzapur did not take any action on the communication sent by public information officer UPSIC.

  2. Undoubtedly government is removing the fear of action from the mind of wrongdoers who are withholding the sought information from the information seeker. Think about gravity of situation that not a single recovery is being made by the government and there is open violation of the order of the Uttar Pradesh state information commission.
